Team Captain

Vivian is a Senior majoring in Civil Engineering with an interest in hydraulics. Outside of Concrete Canoe, she enjoys knitting, jigsaw puzzles, and chess.
Patrick White (Sr.)
Hull Design Lead
Patrick is a senior in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering. As Hull Design Lead, he is responsible for the design of the canoe’s hull geometry as well as other tasks related to the delivery of the final prototype. He also enjoys reading and spending time with friends.
Ben Routhier (Sr.)
Mix Design Lead

Ben Routhier is a senior majoring in Materials Science & Engineering. This is his third year on the team and he is excited to be leading the mix design subteam. In his spare time, he likes to work backstage for student theater.
Song Kim (Soph.)
Mix Design Assistant

Song Kim is a sophomore in chemical engineering. This is his second year on MCCT and he is excited to support the mix design team. He also drives the team trailer.

Technical Submissions Lead

Karina is a senior studying Civil Engineering with a focus in structures. This is her third year on the team and she is also active with the ASCE student chapter. Outside of Concrete canoe, she enjoys hiking and playing video games.

Quality Assurance Lead
Jenna is a senior studying Civil Engineering with a focus in construction management. It is her third year on the team and she is also active with the ASCE student chapter. In her free time, she enjoys cooking and spending time with friends.
Gauri Jere (Jr.)
Construction Lead
Gauri is a junior studying Environmental Engineering from Bangalore, India. It is her second year on the team, and her first year as the Construction Lead. Outside of Concrete Canoes, she enjoys spending time in nature and reading!

Kaitlyn is a sophomore studying Civil Engineering from Berkley, Michigan. She is excited to be a part of the mix design subteam. She loves to ski and is on the UM Alpine Ski and Snowboard Team.

Emily is a junior in Materials Science & Engineering. She's looking forward to getting more involved with the mix and paddling sub teams. She is also on the University's Club Soccer and Rugby teams.
Braedon Urzua (Jr.)
Quality Control Lead

Braedon is a Junior majoring in Civil Engineering. He is the quality control lead for the MCCT, and is excited for a great year. In his free time, he enjoys listening to music, playing tennis and soccer, and watching sports.

Paddling Lead

Kate is a senior studying Chemical Engineering. As the paddling lead, she is responsible to teach and coach the team for the physical race at competition. In her free time, she enjoys playing volleyball, tailgating, and hanging out with friends.

Nicholas is a senior studying Civil Engineering. It is his third year on the team, and is also a part of the paddling sub-team. Outside of concrete canoe, he loves playing soccer, running, and going to U of M football games.

Brian is a senior studying civil engineering. This is his second year on the team and he is the inventory lead.

Sarah is a sophomore studying Biomedical Engineering. This is her second year on the team, and she is primarily a part of the aesthetics sub-team. Outside of concrete canoe, she enjoys playing clarinet and listening to music.
Leo Udell (Sr.)
Aesthetics Lead

Leo is a Senior in Art and Design with a focus on product design and minors in Japanese and Computer Science. Leo is this year's Aesthetics Lead, and he is excited for this year's display. He is from Western Massachusetts and has a cute cat named Junji.

Parker is a freshman in the College of Engineering with an intended major in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering. He is a member of the Hull Design subteam of MCCT. Outside of concrete canoe he likes reading and building models.
Lilia Bohntinsky (Soph.)
Lilia is a sophomore from Atlanta, Georgia who studying Civil Engineering and Architecture with a minor in CS. Outside of MCCT, Lilia loves all things sports, is a member of the Delta Phi Epsilon sorority, and enjoys ceramics and painting.
Jade Redmond (Soph.)
Jade is a Sophomore in computer engineering with a minor in history. She is involved in the Mix, Hull design, and paddling subteams. Outside of school and concrete canoe she loves to dance and has been doing so for 17 years!

Arnuv is a junior from Seattle, Washington pursuing a dual-degree in Computer Science and Business Administration. He is a first year member on the team and is excited to learn about mix and help drive the truck. In his free time he likes to travel, ski, and obsess over fantasy football.

Ryan is a senior studying Civil Engineering and Urban Planning and Development. It's his first year on the team and he's excited to get more involved with the mix and paddling team. In his free time he enjoys watching sports, going to the big house and racing.

Madie is a senior in studying civil engineering with a focus in geotechnical engineering. In her free time, she enjoys going to concerts, hanging out with friends, and working out in her free time.
Dylan Gottheim (Sr.)
Dylan is a senior studying Civil Engineering with a minor in Entrepreneurship and is a member of the Hull Design team. Outside of school, you can find Dylan on the tennis court, watching football and hockey or playing video games with friends. He loves to travel and trying different foods from around the world.

Koby is a junior in Civil Engineering from Coldwater, Michigan. He is a first year member and is excited to join the mix design subteam. In his free time Koby enjoys spending time with friends, reading, or working out.

Lili Szalai is a sophomore in Environmental Engineering with a PiSE certificate. This is her first year on the team and she is interested in learning about mix design. In her free time she enjoys reading and going to Ice Hockey games.
Julien Nyberg (Sr.)
Julien is a senior in Environmental Engineering. He is part of the Hull Design subteam. He is also involved in Wolverine Offshore Wind project team. Outside MCCT, he likes to build plastic model kits and watch tv.
