Eric is a senior studying Chemical Engineering. This is his fourth year on the team and he has held the positions of Captain, Mix Design Lead, and Paddling Lead. Eric is really excited for this year and for the team to keep getting better! Eric is from Farmington Hills, Michigan and in his free time he enjoys hanging out outside, spending time with friends, and going to U of M sport games.
Noah is a sophomore studying Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from Arlington, Texas. Noah joined the team as a freshman and is excited to be the Hull Design lead in only his second year on the team. In his free time, Noah enjoys reading, research, and most of all travelling.
Megan is a sophomore studying chemical engineering. This is her second year on the team, though her first as public relations representative. Megan is from Holland, MI where she enjoys hiking the dunes, cooking, and hanging out with her friends.
Kristin is from Ada, Michigan and is a sophomore majoring in Chemical Engineering with a planned minor in Materials Science and Engineering. This is her second year on the team and her first year in the role of Secretary. Besides Concrete Canoe, she is also involved in SWE, AIChE, and IM sports and enjoys reading, attending athletic events, and skiing. She really enjoyed being on the paddling team last year and is very excited to be even more involved on the team this year.
Mehul hails from the distant town of Saline, MI. He is a senior majoring in civil engineering and minoring in business. He enjoys playing the violin, dancing, and watching excessive amounts of the Food Network. He is excited for his fourth year on the Concrete Canoe Team and is excited to continue being a part of a close knit group of hard working students.
Ashlynn is a senior from Waldorf, Maryland majoring in Materials Science Engineering with a minor in Multidisciplinary Design and a specialized study in Sustainability Engineering. She enjoys reading books (for fun!), watching inordinate amounts of Netflix, and petting dogs whenever an opportunity presents itself. She is very excited to continue her role as Construction Lead on the Concrete Canoe team this year and finish out her college career with a great display.
Hannah is a senior studying civil engineering with a hydraulics and hydrology focus. She is from Middleville, MI and this is her third year on MCCT. This year she is excited for new innovation, race day, and training new members. At Michigan she is also involved in Cru, BLUElab, Aquaponics, and the swimming and triathlon club teams.
Liz is a senior in mechanical engineering, this is her third year on the team and second year as quality control. She is from West Bloomfield, MI. She is excited to be on the team again this year and race at competition.
Paddle Practice Lead
Michael is a senior from Saline, MI studying Industrial and Operations Engineering. This is his fourth year on the team and his second year as the paddling coach. He loves to play IM sports and attend Michigan basketball and football games.
Parker is a senior in aerospace engineering. This is his fourth year on the team. He is the safety officer for the team and also coordinates logistics with the Wilson Center. When he is not occupied with classes and concrete canoe he works part time at an engineering machine vision company in Ann Arbor. He likes to travel, often globally, and enjoys cooking as a hobby.
Jackie Clemons is a freshman from Morristown, NJ, studying civil engineering. She enjoys playing for Michigan’s club field hockey team, as well as watching movies and trying new food.
Ben is a freshman from West Bloomfield, MI and he is super excited to be a part of the MCCT for the first time. He is interested in the concrete mix aspect of MCCT and enjoys getting his hands dirty. Outside of concrete canoe, Ben enjoys running on the club running team as well as watching baseball. He hopes to continue with MCCT for the rest of his time at U of M.
Max is a freshman from Three Rivers, Michigan. He plans to major in either mechanical or civil engineering. In his free time, he enjoys hanging out with friends and playing sports, such as basketball, bowling, golf, and IM soccer.
Ben is a freshman canoe enthusiast who obtained his love of paddling from trips in Algonquin Park, Ontario, just north of his home in Toronto. He is planning on majoring in Chemical Engineering and is also a part of the Michigan Men’s Rowing team. In his spare time, Ben enjoys listening to music, playing intramural sports, and watching “The Office.”
Erik is a freshman from Big Rapids Michigan and plans to major in Civil Engineering. During free time he enjoys being with friends, watching or playing sports, along with sleeping of course.
Estelle is a Junior from Seattle, Washington majoring in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Computer Science. She is enjoys making food in her slow cooker and playing IM sports. She is excited to explore the world of floating concrete this year and make a killer display.
Rachel is a freshmen planning an IOE major from Dallas, Texas. This is her first year on the team, but she hopes to be a part of it for years to come and is excited to see everything the team can accomplish. Outside of the club, she’s involved in Girl Scouts, SWE, and volunteering.
Jacob is a freshman from the great city of Grand Rapids, Michigan who is undecided but leaning towards Mechanical Engineering with a Minor in Music. He enjoys playing french horn in the campus philharmonic orchestra, running outside, and sleeping. He is excited to start with the team and see what the year holds.
Aniketh Is a sophomore form Canton, MI studying Mechanical Engineering. This is his first year on the team, and he is excited to innovate and build an amazing canoe with his teammates. Outside of MCCT, he enjoys most sports, fitness, and hanging out with friends.
